The investment partners who purchased this apartment building in an upscale Burlingame neighborhood needed a complete remodel of the building on the inside and the outside, and the building needed to transform into a sophisticated and desirable place to live. A contemporary building to start with, the design team worked with the existing building fabric, using more contemporary colors and details.

An existing unused enclosed planter was re-purposed into a leasing office off of the main lobby. A grand and elegant entry was created with a black awning, new slate flooring, new custom designed handrails and an abstract steel lattice that will be trained with plant growth.
